Gillis Triplett's Bio

On December 31st, 1961 Gillis Anthony Triplett was born to the parents of Mr. & Mrs. Gillis & Emma Triplett. He came to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in December of 1988 at a businessmen's meeting in Monrovia, California.

Immediately after experiencing the new birth, Gillis hungered and thirsted after righteousness and began studying the Word of God, meditating on the Scriptures and spending time face to face with the Lord in prayer, at an all-consuming pace.

Because of his spiritual tenacity, Gillis began to grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.

Others could clearly see the calling of God upon his life.

Because of what they saw and perceived, Gillis was offered numerous positions to pastor but turned them down at the behest of the voice of the Holy Spirit. In the summer of 1992, Lord spoke to Gillis and told him to leave California and head east, and He would show him the place he was called to pastor once he got there.
