  • Catherine McMichael () is an Americancomposer, music pedagogue, conductor, arranger, pianist and music publisher.

    McMichael studied at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, obtained her Bachelor of Music in Piano and later also her Master of Music in Chamber Music and accompaniment.

    Subsequently, she became a teacher at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) in Saginaw, Michigan. She is the conductor of the handbell choir at the First United Methodist Church in Saginaw, and also guest conductor of the Saginaw Choral Society and the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra.

    She has led courses and workshops at various establishments and institutes in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. On being asked what it is like to be a female composer, she states "I have no idea.
