Maciej Kranz (born 22 November 1964; Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish-American executive, New York Times bestselling author,^[1]angel investor,^[2] faculty member of Singularity University, and an expert in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, and edge computing.^[3][4] He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at KONE^[5] and is a frequent speaker in the fields of IoT and business practices in the tech sector.^[6][7][8][9]

Early life

Maciej Kranz was born on 22 November 1964^[10] in Warsaw, Poland to Jan and Malgorzata Kranz.^{[citation needed]} He studied at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, during which he served as National Committee Exchange Controller for AIESEC in Poland.^[11] Kranz later obtained his MBA at Texas Christian University.^[12]
