Zuhair Haddad was born and raised in Amman-Jordan. He left Jordan for the U.S.A in 1972.

In September of 1972 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, he was stationed in Norfolk-Virginia aboard the ship U.S.S. Truckee. He went on a Mediterranean cruise during his service and visited Europe; he also visited Central America.In 1979 he started doing cartoon voice-over in Arabic: he did about 500 episodes, voice-over, adaptation, translation and directing.

During that time he attended L.A. Valley College to study Motion Picture and Theater Arts; he received his A.A. Degree from there.
